A Registered Nurse, Funmilayo is currently the MDS Coordinator/ PRI, Baypark Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in the Bronx, New York. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Nyack College, Nyack NY. With over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare sector, Funmilayo’s love for humanity is what informed her choice of profession.

She has in-depth experience with patients and consumers with knowledge of Psychiatric Hospital, Nursing Home, Public Heath, adjunct Prof teaching Psychiatric nursing, . Medical Research and Primary Care environment. She has proven ability as a MDS Coordinator, RN Supervisor and Unit Manager, to lead, motivate and coordinate multidisciplinary team components in complex environment. She has worked as a College Nurse with critical thinking as the nurse in charge of the health office during the after- hours, using her managerial skills and experience to complete the task of acute treatment and referrals to appropriate disciplines. She is a Department of Education New York State 2007 Licensed Practical Nurse: NCLEX, Department of Education New York State 1998.
